Spartans Youth FC’s Adults team will make club history this Friday night when they face Abingdon United in the Second Round of the FA Vase—the furthest Spartans have ever progressed in this prestigious national competition.

The match takes place on Friday 11 September 2026 at The Orchard, Bedfont, TW14 9QT, with kick-off at 7:45pm.

It promises to be a challenging but exciting encounter. Abingdon United play one division above Spartans and are able to pay their players, but our team will enter the game determined, confident and ready to fight for a place in the next round.

A large and vocal home crowd could make a real difference. We are calling on players, parents, managers, coaches, volunteers and supporters from every Spartans age group to come along, make some noise and give the Adults team the backing they deserve.

This is more than just a match—it is a historic occasion for the entire club and an opportunity to bring the whole Spartans family together. We want the players to look around the ground and see the green and black colours of Spartans everywhere.

Every member of our club, from the youngest player to the Adults team, is part of one Spartans community. Let’s stand together, create a fantastic atmosphere and help the team take another memorable step forward.

No retreat. No surrender.

Come on, Spartans!
